Anupam Kher News: Veteran film actor Anupam Kher is excited about the release of his upcoming film ‘Vijay 69’. Meanwhile, the actor remembered his 40 years of cinematic journey. Not only this, he also appealed to the fans to dream.

Anupam Kher wrote a long note on his four-decade journey in cinema on Instagram on Monday. There was also mention of initial trials in it.

When Anupam went through difficult days

Recalling the difficult times he faced during the beginning of his career, he wrote, ‘1984 was a make or break year for me. Every day was disappointing and those times tested my patience.

Anupam further wrote, ‘I was desperate to make a name for myself by getting work on my own terms. There was no connection in the industry. All I had was my willpower and the determination to never give up on my dreams.

Anupam Kher was the gold medalist

According to the actor, he did not have the typical hero look but wanted people to see his passionate character on screen. Before entering the world of cinema, Anupam had done a four-year course in acting and was a gold medalist from drama school.

He further said- I was desperate to get an opportunity so that I could tell the world who I am and what I can do on screen. People thought I was arrogant. But I knew that the anger inside me was silently waiting to tell everyone that they were wrong, they were wrong and I thank Mahesh Bhatt for that. Bhatt gave me ‘Saaransh’ and believed in me when no one else did. He assigned me the role of a 65-year-old man who was grief-stricken over the death of his young son.

Now in 2024, Anupam is going to play the role of a 69 year old man. This has been disclosed in this post itself. He told that now he will be seen playing the role of 69-year-old man Vijay Mathew, who is short-tempered and wants to become a triathlon athlete, in his upcoming film ‘Vijay 69’ produced by YRF.

The actor remembered the journey of 40 years

Kher further said- I cannot deny the fact that I am a small town boy. Coming from a lower-middle-class family, I have gone through challenging experiences which I cherish deeply.

He said- I still remember the feelings I felt as a child. Anupam told that his clerk father is an inspiration for him. He was a common man who had dreams in his eyes. The actor wrote, I can never forget his eyes. She spoke a lot even when he did not speak a single word. That’s why whenever I play the character of a common man, I play his character on screen.

‘People thought my career was over’

He further wrote- ‘I always present him and the common man on screen. I never thought of quitting acting, even when things were bad, never will. I’m not going to give up! Never. I have learned from my failures. Failure teaches you more than success. When I got paralyzed during the shooting of ‘Hum Aap Ke Hain Koun’, people thought that my career was over. I overcame it and moved forward. I was a Hindi medium boy. I did films with successful Hollywood actors like Robert De Niro, Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, Keira Knightley.

Let us tell you that ‘Vijay 69’ is going to be released on Netflix on 8th November.
